A who’s who of the entertainment industry convened at the Beverly Hills offices of marketing firm THE A LIST to celebrate the upcoming release of Straight From the Grapevine: How to Crush Your Job Search, the highly anticipated new book by the founders of powerhouse staffing agency The Grapevine - Rachel Zaslansky Sheer and Lori Zuker Briller.

THE A LIST Founder Ashlee Margolis and Managing Partner Jenine Leigh brought together top Hollywood executives, talent representatives, creatives, and industry tastemakers for cocktails and light bites in honor of Hollywood’s most connected staffing agency and its influential founders.

The event welcomed an impressive roster of industry leaders, drawing major figures from the worlds of talent representation, entertainment, and fashion. Among the prominent attendees were actress and producer Mindy Kaling, actress Sasha Alexander, power agent Kevin Huvane of Creative Artists Agency, Courtney Kivowitz from MGMT Entertainment, and  Darin Friedman of Entertainment 360. The gathering also featured influential voices such as Julie Darmody of Rise Management, Alissa Vradenburg from Untitled Entertainment, Alex Yarosh from The Gersh Agency, A.L.C. founder Andrea Lieberman, and high-profile names such as talent manager Cade Hudson, style innovator Caroline Baudino, music supervisor Gabe Hilfer, power attorney PJ Shapiro, music executive Mike Caren and LA Beauty Connect founder Julie Obst.

The celebration highlighted the forthcoming book, which draws on more than two decades of experience placing candidates in high-profile roles across entertainment, business, and beyond. Once Hollywood assistants themselves, Zaslansky, Sheer, and Zuker Briller have become trusted advisors and career mentors, helping shape the next generation of industry leaders.
