Dorsia and the Serpentine hosted an intimate dinner at The Joyce, bringing together artists, art lovers, and cultural tastemakers. Bettina Korek, CEO, Serpentine, Marc Lotenberg, Founder & CEO, Dorsia, and Hans Ulrich Obrist, Artistic Director, Serpentine, co-hosted the event along with Spicy Hospitality Group's Principal & Founder Andre Sakhai–who is known for creating luxury dining experiences that merge high art and fine cuisine.
Notable attendees included Marc Lotenberg (Founder & CEO, Dorsia), Bettina Korek (CEO, Serpentine), Hans Ulrich Obrist (Artistic Director, Serpentine), Hank Willis Thomas (Visual Artist), JR (Photographer & Street Artist), Ibrahim Mahama (Artist), Holly Herndon (Artist & Composer), Andre Sakhai (Founder, Spicy Hospitality), Marc Spiegler (Art World Leader), Dozie Kanu (Artist), and more.
The Joyce, a modern American steakhouse-meets-speakeasy on Española Way, treated guests to a custom menu of American steakhouse classics, featuring chef James Taylor's specialties, including Caviar Latkes, The Joyce Burger, and Chicago Cut Ribeye.
Following dinner, the space was transformed into an “Afters” hosted by Dorsia and soundtracked by global DJ Nicola Bernardini, which delivered high-voltage, art-week energy. This invite-only gathering, one of the week's most coveted invites, also served as the announcement of Dorsia’s multi-year partnership with Art Basel and a preview of an official Afters program that will launch at the Paris fair in 2026.
In October, Dorsia announced its debut as an official Art Basel partner, kicking off a multi-year agreement that includes the creation of Dorsia Special Access, a new, official Art Basel Afters series powered by Dorsia, and unprecedented access for Art Basel VIP’s. The partnership bridges the worlds of art, culture, and fine dining, and expands Dorsia’s footprint and access to the world’s most exclusive and important cultural moments.
