Renowned architect and interior designer Carlos Mota, celebrated for his bold use of color and global design sensibility, was at the center of an intimate celebration at Fasano Bar at Fasano Restaurant in New York. Known for projects that blend sophistication with whimsy, Mota launched his latest book, Purple Fever, a visual ode to the power and poetry of the color purple.
The book explores the hue across nature, art, interiors, and design, reflecting Mota’s passion for color as a vehicle of creativity and joy. Guests gathered to toast the release with cocktails and conversation among friends from the worlds of design, fashion, and culture, including party hostesses Tory Burch, Allison Sarofim, Aerin Lauder, Renee Rockefeller, Muriel Brandolini, Lauren Santo Domingo, Jamie Tisch, Elizabeth Saltzman, Sabine Getty, and Wes Gordon.
