Nina Ricci designer Harris Reed spent a whirlwind three days in Dallas, as the guest of The Conservatory and The Collection Gala, benefitting the Dallas Museum of Art.
The Conservatory hosted an intimate launch for Harris at its in-store cafe, Teak Tearoom, co-hosted by founder Brian Bolke and Leigh Anne Clark. Guests included art collectors and socials such as Cindy Rachofsky, Marguerite Hoffman, Jennifer Eagle, Moll Anderson, Kasey Lemkin, Christen Wilson, and Rochelle Gores.
That afternoon, Harris signed copies of his book, Fluid, and worked directly with clients on an exclusive collection of Made To Order styles, launched exclusively at The Conservatory.
Friday night, The Conservatory founder Brian Bolke, with Harris and artist Ashley Longshore, hosted the Patron Party for The Collection Gala. The evening was a fictional Parisian 1980s discotheque, Nina’s, with Dallas’ favorite DJ Lucy Wrubel and decadent cocktails from Casa Dragones and Kástra Elión, caviar pizza from Los Angeles cult-favorite Pizzana, and activations such as “Champagne Pong” with prizes from Place Vendome jeweler, Unsaid.
On Saturday, Harris was a guest of The Collection Gala, a reboot of Art Ball, the most important fundraiser for the Dallas Museum of Art for the last 60 years. This year’s gala featured over 50 works of contemporary art and a high—octane live auction presided by Sotheby’s star auctioneer, Phyllis Kao.
