Printemps hosted a dinner to celebrate Camille Fournet’s 80th anniversary and U.S. debut. The second‑floor salon was transformed with a Lilly‑themed gazebo designed by French architect Laura Gonzales, where the brand’s handbags were displayed as the centerpiece of the evening. Dancer PeiJu Chien‑Pott of Graham100 performed, adding a poetic movement element.
Guests enjoyed a multi‑course dinner by executive chef Gregory Gourdet while artistic director Claire Aubadie‑Ladrix spoke. From its beginnings in 1945, making exotic‑skin watch straps to its current collection of intricately crafted handbags, the evening reflected both the heritage and the modern vision of Camille Fournet. The installation also featured a piece by French artist Fabrice Hyber, part of the brand’s ongoing collaboration with artists.
