Chillhouse, the award-winning, Latina-founded nail care brand, recently celebrated the redesign of its flagship Chillhouse Soho Spa. This redesign showcases the brand’s evolution from a buzzy nail and spa destination to a flourishing lifestyle and retail label.
The transformation of the 3,200-square-foot space, designed by New York City-based Ringo Studio, was completed in early September.
“This refresh was about honoring the heart of Chillhouse while looking ahead to where the brand is going,” said Madelynn Ringo, founder and creative director of Ringo Studio. “We worked closely with Cyndi to understand her vision for the brand’s next chapter, how the space could better support her expanding product line, foster deeper community connections, and feel like the grown-up, refined version of the Chillhouse customers already know and love.”
Since the Soho Spa first opened in 2019, it has doubled as an innovation hub and creative lab for new products and designs – like its Chill Tips salon-quality press-on nails and Forever Wear gel-like polish – cultivating the brand’s evolution alongside its inspiring customers. The space has hosted hundreds of events, from product launch parties to facial, massage and manicure pop-ups with brands like Chobani Oatmilk and Sonos, and will continue to prioritize community in its new iteration.
“As a New Yorker, entrepreneur, and mom, this flagship has always been my proudest creation,” said Ramirez-Fulton. “Giving it a fresh new look is my way of evolving with the brand, the city, and the people who’ve supported us from day one."
She continued, "Our flagship has always been the heart of Chillhouse. Redesigning it feels like writing the next chapter of our story — a space that’s as inspiring as the community we’ve built around it.”
