Fourteen years after stepping away from the traditional runway, California lifestyle brand Jenni Kayne returns to New York Fashion Week with an immersive presentation at its newly transformed SoHo store. More than a fashion showcase, the experience, titled Grounded, marks the brand’s next chapter, bringing together wardrobe and interiors in a considered, elevated environment that reflects Jenni Kayne’s holistic approach to living.
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection embodies the brand’s belief in elevated, seasonless dressing. Bold colors, signature knits, and timeless silhouettes are styled with ease by renowned stylist Kate Young, whose long-standing creative relationship with Kayne brings a full-circle resonance to the presentation. Each look underscores the brand’s dedication to wardrobe longevity–pieces designed to evolve with the wearer, not chase fleeting trends.
“Returning to New York in this way felt like a natural evolution,” says founder Jenni Kayne. “We’re not just showing a collection, we’re bringing our world to life. This collection is about presence, permanence, and creating a moment of clarity within the pace of Fashion Week. It reflects who we are today: confident in our aesthetic, rooted in our California sensibility, and excited to offer something lasting in a world that often moves too quickly.”
“Working with Jenni again feels incredibly full-circle, but what excites me most is how evolved the brand is today,” says Kate Young. “These pieces aren’t just beautiful clothes, they’re clothes you actually want to live in. Styling this collection was about showing how effortless and adaptable they are, whether you’re in Los Angeles, New York, or anywhere else. There’s a quiet confidence to the way Jenni designs, and I wanted that ease to come through in every look.”
The decision to rejoin Fashion Week follows the brand’s deepened connection to its East Coast community, marked by the opening of the Jenni Kayne Farmhouse in upstate New York last summer. Rather than a runway, the SoHo space has been fully reimagined with bespoke furnishings, floral installations, and exclusive debuts, designed to mirror how customers live with the brand.
By choosing an immersive, home-inspired setting within its SoHo flagship, Jenni Kayne extends its philosophy that how you dress, how you live, and how you design your space are all reflections of the same aesthetic. Every detail of the store–paint colors, layout, furnishings, and scent–has been reimagined to create discovery at every corner. The experience also weaves seamlessly into the upcoming launch of Pacific Natural Everywhere, Kayne’s third book, which explores the idea of California living as a state of mind that transcends geography.
“Our presence at NYFW is not just about fashion, it’s about the full expression of the Jenni Kayne lifestyle,” says CEO Kate Watters. “As we look toward continued expansion across verticals and into international markets, this moment signals how we intend to show up: with clarity, intention, and an unwavering commitment to building something that endures.”
The return to NYFW also underscores Jenni Kayne’s momentum as it continues to expand thoughtfully across retail, hospitality, and wellness. With projects spanning new categories, international growth, and a growing bi-coastal customer base, the brand’s presence at Fashion Week cements its position as the go-to authority for elevated essentials and modern California living.
