In celebration of the inaugural season of New York Fashion Week: Men's, presenting sponsor Amazon Fashion, together with East Dane, MyHabit & the Council of Fashion Designers of America, hosted the opening cocktail reception and unveiling of a specially commissioned exhibition by photographer Erik Madigan Heck.

Amazon Fashion commissioned award-winning photographer Erik Madigan Heck to capture 16 of the designers who are showing for the Spring/Summer 2014 collections, including Rag & Bone, Public School, John Varvatos, Perry Ellis, Tommy Hilfiger. The exhibition explores the intricacies of menswear design with images that capture the detailing, structure, and color that push their concepts beyond the simple utilitarian. "Beyond Utility: The Art of Menswear" was unveiled during Monday's opening celebration and will be on display at Skylight Clarkson Square, the home of New York Men's Fashion Week.
