Park Hyatt New York, the luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, proudly unveiled UV-9, its Spring-Summer 2025 art exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Stef Ross, with a lively reception at The Living Room within the hotel.
Drawing inspiration from New York City’s lively warm-weather months, Ross’ colorful and eye-catching installation pays homage to the city and its cherry blossom season through a Lite Brite art series and custom floral works throughout the hotel’s public spaces. The installation will be on view at Park Hyatt New York’s signature restaurant, The Living Room, and its ground-level Avenue Gallery from May 8, 2025, through August 31, 2025.
In The Living Room, guests and locals are invited to explore Ross’ play on cherry blossoms through a trio of custom floral works in three varying colors and designs. In the Avenue Gallery, visitors will find a collection of pieces including floral sculptures, beaded swimsuits, an ‘I LOVE NY’ display made from pearls, and a Lite Brite art series cascading down the hallway.
Based in Chicago, Stef Ross creates modern and sculptural art inspired by fashion and pop culture. Reimagining materials and textures through innovate use of color and technique variation, she blends jovial energy with exquisite detailing to create inclusive works that are set to inspire. Ross often exhibits at exclusive fairs, including Art Basel Miami, and her work can be found in galleries across the United States.
Past collaborations and art exhibitions at Park Hyatt New York include Keith Haring, Sophie Kitching, Corita Kent, Lizzie Gill, and Jeffrey Okyere-Agyei.
