Ian Schrager and Stefano Tonchi, editor-in-chief of W magazine, celebrated the premiere of The New York EDITION and the launch of W Art’s May issue.  The New York EDITION, Ian Schrager’s first New York hotel in almost six years, made its debut in the iconic Metropolitan Life “Clocktower” building on Madison Square Park and was fêted during an intimate evening in partnership with W magazine. The event kicked off a weeklong celebration for W Art, the biggest fine arts publication in the world, during the Frieze Art Fair in New York. Guests were invited for an intimate dinner in chef Jason Atherton’s Clocktower restaurant followed by a late-night party which took over all of the public spaces in the new hotel, which is also a brand partnership with Marriott.
