The 2nd Annual MAISON ST-GERMAIN was hosted by Hollywood’s reigning “Most Powerful Stylist” and Creative Director Kate Young, where she transformed The Battery into a surrealist oasis. Celebrating the joyful decadence of summer indulgence, Kate’s first-ever immersive installation incorporated wild juxtapositions of flavors, styles and sensorial experiences, leading guests on a romantic-yet-whimsical journey throughout the cherished landscape.

Drawing inspiration from the lavish parties of the 1920s, as portrayed in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Beautiful and Damned,” the stylish crowd – including Lola Rykiel, Lynn Yaeger, TK Wonder and Cipriana Quann, Timo Weiland, and Carly Cushnie -- was invited to enjoy a rare fleeting moment of exuberance in celebration of the thousands of elderflowers harvested once a year to create St-Germain. Each space served as a new discovery for guests to explore as layers of St-Germain’s enchanting tale were unveiled with the help from renowned Production Designer Marla Weinhoff and Floral Artist Brittany Asch of BRRCH. From an avant-garde landscape of evocative arrangements, to an illuminated jardin of 1,000 flowers – resembling the thousands of delicate elderflowers used to create St-Germain liqueur – Kate’s vision captured the glamorous “joie de vivre” of life in full bloom.

The chic crowd, including the staff who Kate personally styled in Gucci, Fendi and Saint Laurent, mingled throughout the gardens, taking selfies as they explored the immersive installation, while sipping on Fitzgerald-inspired cocktails crafted by St-Germain Global Ambassador Camille Ralph Vidal. Guests danced the night away to beats by Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT, while tantalizing hors d’oeuvres were served throughout.
