The 6th Annual DVF Awards was hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and Tina Brown, with a high-profile line-up of presenters including Hillary Rodham Clinton, Naomi Campbell, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Dakota Fanning.  

The DVF Awards were created in 2010 by Diane von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to recognize and support women who are using their resources, commitment and visibility to transform the lives of other women. Award recipients included Ambassador Melanne Verveer (The Lifetime Leadership Award), Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords (The Inspiration Award), Adimaimalaga Tafuna’i and Samar Minallah Khan (International Awards) and Becky Straw and Jody Landers (The People’s Voice Award). Honorees receive $50,000 in support of the organization with which they are affiliated from The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to further their work.
