CISLA celebrated 11 years in Los Angeles and honored three Angelenos who have dedicated themselves professionally or through their personal philanthropy to supporting the youth of Los Angeles. Honorees included Ashlee Margolis, founder of entertainment and fashion marketing firm, The A List - for her financial support, her and her company's volunteerism to support career exploration and for providing life changing internships for CISLA students; Iman Turner, MSW, CISLA Site Coordinator - for her dedication to ensuring that her students have the social and emotional supports they need to achieve; and Monica Garcia, LAUSD Board President - for leading the way within LAUSD to ensuring that ALL students have the tools they need to achieve. 

Guests enjoyed music by DJ Pookie Chapstick. Notable guests included Allison De Neufville, Ali Larter, Amy Smart, Busy Philipps, Chelsea Handler, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Oli Hudson, Regina King, Sanaa Lathan, Sasha Alexander, Selma Blair, Shiri Appleby and Zoey Deutch.
