-Assist in developing strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines that are consistent with the overall PR strategy and that align with client goals
-Work alongside account manager to ensure that client objectives are met on time
-Assist in establishing media strategy & secure media placements in top tier national outlets across print, and online
-Nurture & expand media network consistently and maintain constant awareness of changing media landscape
-Monitor and identify trends/hot topics and competitive landscapes in lifestyle industries
-Write/edit press and client press
-Maintain regular client communication
-Identify and forge relationships with relevant strategic partners and industry leaders
-Manage Editorial Calendars, Compile monthly editorial/clipping reports.
-Must have contacts and relationships at design/shelter/lifestyle titles
-Must have a solid understanding/interest in the following industries: home, design, lifestyle and hospitality
-Must have established relationships with key market editors
-Strong understanding of brand positioning
-Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Art History, Interior Design or a related field
-Must have agency experience
-Must be highly motivated with a willingness to learn and function in a fast-paced environment
-Must have outstanding communication and writing skills
-Ability to think strategically and structured
-Must be a proactive team player with strong social skills
-Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint, FGPS, Cision
